Project: Julio Bashmore "Peppermint".
Role: Previs Artist, Previs Animator, Modeling (hands cg, head for 3d printing), 3d Animator, Layout Artist, Cam Animation, Lipsync Client: Blink, Prodigious Software Used: Maya, Zbrush.
I have been working on this project for about 6 weeks. I started at Blink working close with the Director Noah Harris (one of the most famous director at Blink) on the previz for this video and helping him to visualize all the different aspect of the production: modelling all the elements of the video with the proper scale, especiallty the head that has been printed in 3d, and working on all the animations in sync with the music. I help him visualize all the sequence, producing all the camera animation, all those datas has been imported in the camera track for the final shooting.
After around 3 weeks of previs, I move to post production at Prodigious, working on a sequence in full Cg.
I worked closed with Rodi Kaya, a great 3d artist. We worked on 12 shots. I produce all the camera animation, 3d animation (of the body) for 6 shots.
I modelled the hands, to make it as close as possible with the real one used during the shooting.
At the end of production, I fixed any secondary issue in the full cg sequence: lipsync, body skin issue, hands 3d model and sync with the music, taking care merging all the shots and I coordinate the production of the shots checking that everything was fine, before the final render.
Has been another great experience to work on, pretty "original".
